Griping Life is a philosophy: making the most of every instant, of every experience, of every link that the movement of life offers. It is being expansive, adapting to changes.
This slogan is conjugate with our brand in both past, present and future tenses: It reminds the original point of active holding, it tells our wills to create links, to shape a community around our brand, and to design multiple ranges of living, adaptable... and radical products.

THE FRAMES

Parasite glasses are made to optimize comfort, holding and style. They are the glasses of the future, The holding system is emblematic. It becomes coherent and relevant through the innovative and technical principles it puts forward, first in a sun range rather than in a corrective one. The Parasite brand’s spirit is embodied in its sunglasses which are sporty and fashionable, sober but coloured, original and refined.
The Hybride collection demonstrate the validity of active holding, by mixing it with a different aesthetic. The look is sophisticated, more adapted to prescription glasses.

ACTIVE HOLDING

Parasite's active holding system has been designed for mountain-climbing, to allow the frame to hold on the face in every position. Parasite frames wrap around the upper cranium, using their double arms to rest just above and below the temple (painless zones of the face). The 4 points of holding prevent the frame both from horizontal and vertical movements. One never has had this feeling of ‘hardly’ wearing glasses, since one does precisely not wear them: they hold by themselves. This comfort is due to the frame’s pliant material, and to the possibility to adjust the glasses to the each bearer’s specific morphology.

CONTAMINATORS

Parasite is a French new brand. The team behind the scenes is composed of 9 young, competent enthusiasts with various expertise (design, communication, management, selling, R&D / processing…) and a lot of ambition! The head office is based in "la Plaine de l'Ain" near Lyon, in France. Parasite design has to stay a little structure, to be supple and independent, in a way to support freedom of creation an innovation. The Parasite glasses were actually launched in October 2002 at the Silmo Optical exhibition in Paris. They have reached a promissing commercial success that has been confirmed since then. The Parasite team plans to design other products than eyewear.
